Wow! This is a really fast-paced book. I mean just how many times can you get kidnapped in less than 500 pages? He's kidnapped by the good guys, he's kidnapped by the bad guys, and he's kidnapped by people you don't even know who they are.
Alex chases a viscious murderer to Africa and back. There are some very descriptive, gruesome murder scenes that I had to stop and regroup for a bit before reading on. Then his family gets kidnapped and he is taken by the murderer to reclaim their bodies.
