As a big lover of romance novels set in the West I was really hoping to love this book. However, it was a bit disappointing since I never was pulled into the love story of Ariana and Brax. The reason he was "forced" to stay at her ranch working off a debt was ludicrous and it seemed very silly. I give the author credit for doing an African American western novel but the chemistry between the couple was lacking and the storyline was dull.
