I continued to see images from this book across the inter-webs. It is lavishly illustrated with images of the Garden of Eden and dinosaurs. My curiosity was spiked so I found the book on Amazon for $6.01 with shipping and I am thoroughly entertained.
I am glad to own a copy of this book because Dinosaurs of Eden, like the subject matter, is destined to become extinct. I do love the illustrations in this book. They are easily worth my money. The illustrations of the dinosaurs themselves are potentially educational but I suspect that even some of these have been misinterpreted.
Dinosaurs of Eden is, of course, a Creationist view of the Garden of Eden, human nature and natural history. I am, perhaps sadly, uninformed about Creationism but believe that Creationist would claim that I have been brain washed by public education. However, I feel safely brain washed knowing that millions of others, in my generation alone, have received this same public education.
I will not use this forum to debate the facts of Natural History or the literal interpenetration of the Bible. But, I must question the idea that Dinosaurs of Eden has any educational value as a text book for home schooling unless the subject being taught is objectiveness and creative thinking.
