Liberty Jones has loved Hardy Cates since she was 15, but Hardy saw her as off-limits. When Hardy leaves town to pursue his life plans, Liberty finds herself alone with a young sister to raise. Soon she is befriended by a older man, a billionaire who offers her a job at his home. His oldest son, Gage, thinks Liberty is a gold-digger looking for a sugar daddy. But secrets from the past soon come out...and Liberty will have to pick between the two men in her life.
This story had many elements that I don't like in my books---Hundreds of pages of background story, H/h don't meet until past the middle of the book, and a love triangle. Yet, I loved it. This book is written in the first-person point-of-view and you feel everything that Liberty is going through. You couldn't help but root for her and wonder which man she would pick in the end. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. My rating: 5 Stars.
