I didn't know what to expect when I started readingt this book. But, I am blown away. I began the book thinking I wasn't going to get it. I was barely into chapter one thinking "Whoa" and before I realized it I couldn't put it down.
The story takes place in two different centuries. How? Through Marley in the present reading letters written by Marie in the past. You can't discount the letters either. They contain vital information to Damien's character and ultimately his redeeming, if not flawed, qualities. She even manages to make the physical act of Sex and the feeling of Lust the antagonist in the story.
Erin McCarthy is definately one of my favorite authors and deserves the praise she gets from the critics and readers.
