I really enjoyed this book, it was a light easy read and moved quickly. Being the mother of an only child I felt deeply for Kate, loosing your only child is my biggest fear and I can understand her need to know what really happened to her daughter. This book captures the common theme of how hard it is for a teenage girl to fit in, paired with the age of technology for a new twist. I really liked how the author presented the face book posts, texts and other social media, it was very effective. I did feel the end of the book wrapped up a little too quickly, almost like Kimberly McCreight was given 380 pages to fill and rushed the ending to fit in her allotment.
