I usually like the Alex Cross books, but I had neither the nerves or the stomach for this book. I couldn't make it through the first 50 pages. I wasn't even sorry when I had to toss it in the trash because it had become wet. I just considered it one less book for someone to get stuck reading. I will be hesitant to read another Cross book for a long time, if ever.
