I love Christie and was looking for something a little different from Poirot and Marple when I stumbled upon The Mysterious Mr. Quin, and loved it. This book is a collection of several short stories told from the perspective of Mr. Sattherwaite, an elderly English gentleman who is more akin to witnessing the dramas of others' live than taking on the main role. Then Mr. Harley Quin enters and helps prompt Sattherwaite into beoming a key character himself as he figures out the unsolved mysteries of the aristocratic and artisitc circles he keeps as company. Each short story has its share of twists and wit we've all come to expect from the Queen of Mystery, Agatha Christie.
