I really wanted to like this story. This murder mystery is set in Boston, including its amazing library. It was everything I should have liked.
I didn't though. This story didn't have curveballs. It was just nonsense story in a story in a story about a host of characters that I didn't develop any affinity for.
There are several times I considered whether this book would be my annual (do not finish) book, but I actually paid for this one, so I forced myself to complete it.
I do not recommend this book. I struggle to say that there is any particular audience I would recommend it to. I paid for this book, so the author got my money. That said, don't spend your money on this one; it was disappointing to say the least.
