I'm a little rebellious, so, doing everything (I hate to admit this, but . . . ) the Bible says to, sometimes does NOT coincide with the 'realities' of todays life. Why do I feel guilty saying this??? LOL! I guess my problem with this book, and it would NOT be your problem, but, my girlfriend did EVERYTHING the Bible says to do for your spouse. Somewhere in the Bible it says to get up 5:00am and cook your husband breakfast EVERY DAY for the rest of your life????????????????? I can't remember the chapter or verse???? (Just KIDDING!!!!!) Or, wearing skirts EVERY day of your life??? This book is just NOT "MY" cup of tea. For a Christian Woman who will follow the Bible's somewhat strict rules for women to honor their husbands, then this is the book for them. I DO honor my husband, but, as I was reading this, it made me feel guilty for not doing 'some' things!! But, this IS the 21st century, right!!!!!
Honestly, this book is about RESPECT. RESPECTING YOUR HUSBAND. I DO SO SOOOOOOO MUCH! I feel if that is in place, then all this DOES fall into place. Respect goes a LONG way! There are just different ways of doing it. Many different ways.
