What's great about this book is its choice of perspective; it is an autobiography of Dracula who begins his young life in the late 1800's as a medical student, and discovers his forbidden pleasures like most young men of the day -- through wealthier, less law-abiding friends. Absolutely spellbinding as a story of the late 1800's and its social norms, then shot through with the horror of Dracula's story. If this sounds good? Check out the book 'PERFUME' as well.
