I borrowed this book from the library because Faith Hunter was reviewed by several other of my favorite authors as very good at spinning the story. I have read the first three books: Skinwalker, Blood Cross, and Blade Hunter, and because I cannot wait, I am ordering Book 4, from BN.com on my Nook. As soon as it is available, I will be reading it non stop til done as with the previous three. Jane Yellowrock, is vampire hunter but also shares her body with "Big Cat" She is possible the last skinwalker alive and sane. If you loved Anita Blake, you will also love this series which is just different enough and yet as equally action packed to keep you reading without wanting to put it down. The setting is New Orleans, one of my favorite and the city is run by Vampire Blood Master, Leo Pellissier.. Leo and the city's Vampire Council hire Jane to track down a rogue in their city. I will not destroy to plot for you here as some tend to do and just say, I look forward to any future books by this new author. A Big 5 stars.
