A park ranger has found the bodies of a man and woman at a camp site. Detective Josie Quinn investigates, finding evidence of a third person at the site. Did the third camper kill the others or has that person been kidnapped? While driving away from the murder site during a storm, Josie and Noah see a pregnant woman staggering onto the road. Offering her help, they discover that this woman was reported missing from a camp site nearly two years ago. Where has she been all this time?

The 7th book in the Josie Quinn series pulls you in from the first chapter. There were several suspects, more dead bodies, a cult, and a mysterious hermit that lived in the woods. Josie had her work cut out for her with this one. My rating: 4 Stars.
