Imagery can be a powerful friend to children. This book is a simple bedtime poem designed to help children feel safe and protected during the night. It's imagery can easily be understood, and the poetry form flows very well. The illustrations are colorful, but appropriate for night scenes. A little blurred because that is how site is in the dark. I strongly recommend this book for children who may be struggling with fear of the dark, or for those who respond well to imagery. I loved the book!
