Star Lord is about the Knights of the Inner Sphere, a group of elite mechwarriors from the Free Worlds League, who embark on a quest to track down the last decendent of the great traitor Amaris. The plot is a bit askew of the rest of the Battletech universe and is Donald Phillips only contribution to the mammoth series (AFAIK), but it is one of the only sources relating to the Free Worlds League and the Knights.
