This was such a good book. A little like the Father Tim Series.Miss Julia ia around 60 and unexpectedly becomes a widow of a wealthy Presbiterian decon. She finds out he has been having an affair for many years when the (lady) drops off his son for safe keeping and doesn't come back.It is written funny and really holds your interest as Miss J. and her housekeeper Lillianm go abt. the process of holding their head up again and keeping the preacher and others from trying to get her money.
