Like a bad action flick. It's engrossing and draws you in despite yourself.

This book is like a child lying to you. You might go along with the start of the story, but as it plays out with wilder and wilder corollaries, you quickly start to roll your eyes.

Over the top characters with vague motivations, extreme behavior, and no depth.

But I did stay up past my bedtime reading it, so maybe I'm being too harsh.
