I long anticipated this book within the series, The Immortals After Dark. Within the past books the main characters, Lanthe and Thronos had already been introduced, and I knew that would have an interesting story to be told. I enjoyed reading their epic journey of acceptance and love. I enjoy witnessing the character development and change process through out the book.
When Lanthe and Thronos were in Sargasoe the descriptive wording painted a beautiful land under the sea, I would compare it to Atlantis. I found the inner struggles of jealousy, self-doubt, and moral struggles quite appealing as well as relatable. I found the ending rather satisfactory and beautiful. I round it quite ironic that Thronos started as an angel of heaven to become a demon of Hell, I quite enjoyed that bit as well. I was excited to finally know where the Furie resides and look forward to her rescue. Then like always I enjoyed Nix and her kicks. I am pleased she is looking to become a goddess, finding that way cool. I do look forward to the continuation of the series and to hear news of the characters.
