This was my favorite childhood books! And I still love it and will read it and share it with my grandchildren. The adventures and excitement of a literally thimble sized family that lives in the cracks and crevices of a family home. They 'borrow' ordinary small things from the normal sized inhabitants to make their furniture, dishes, etc. Of course being their size their adventures and mishaps are quite hair raising. A wonderful book of make believe and imagination. A must for every child to read.
