On the evening of July 17, 1996 a man and woman have a video camera running when TWA Flight 800 falls from the sky. The government declares the accident due to mechanical failure. John Corey, an ex-NYPD detective goes with his wife to the 5th anniversary memorial service of those who lost their lives in the crash. It is from this moving experience that John decides to reopen the case - in his off hours. A real page turner!
