A predictable Nicholas Sparks read - not horrible, not amazing either. It's a nice, easy book that's great for escaping - just don't expect it to change your life or anything. I actually enjoyed the relationship between the main character and his father more than the romantic relationship. I wanted more of that.
If you really like Nicholas Sparks, you'll enjoy this book. If you find Sparks to be somewhat surfacey, predictable and somewhat dull - you won't be disappointed.
