Seth Turner lost his hand in a gun battle with a group of terrorists working for the CIA. He blames Dr. Harper Douglas for saving his life but no his hand. What kind of soldier can do his job with only one hand? Hiding in a safe house with Harper just makes it worse. He has to look at her every day. He has to endure her helping him with his physical therapy. Seth sees just how lonely Harper is. She has no life outside of her work. Why not spend some of their time taking advantage of their explosive chemistry?

This is the second book in Jo Leigh's In Too Deep series. I thought the story was good. The tension between Harper and Seth is palpable throughout the story. There is some suspense in the second half of the book which picks up the pace. I did have a problem with the ending. It was abrupt and felt more like a "to be continued" rather than a happy ending. You can certainly tell there is another book to read in this series. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
