This is about a woman who disappeared when she was 16 who turns up at her parents' door 20 years later. She claims to have ridden off with a man on a white horse and stayed with him for 6 months, only to come home and find all this time had passed. The story is about how all the people around her (her family, the psychiatrist she has to see, and the boyfriend who everyone thought killed her all those years ago) relate to her and deal with her sudden reappearance. A nice quiet little book.
