This book is about a young Polish Catholic social worker named Irena Sandler who saved 2500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during WW2. Her only regret was she couldn't save more.
Three high school girls started a history project about this unknown hero and their story touched most of the world.
I was in awe of this woman and the powerful, emotional journey I was on.
Everyone should read this book!
