A book of WWII love letters written by a US serviceman to his then girlfriend. The letters, tied in faded pink ribbon, were found in a drawer by his daughter after her mother's death. By reading these letters the daughter came to know and love the father who died before she was born.

As a child of WWII parents I enjoyed the book. Wish I had MY mom's letters!
