Since I will more than likely never get to live in Alaska,I enjoy reading books about our rugged 49th state. Touching The Clouds is the adventure of a young woman in 1935 as she leaves home to become a bush pilot in Alaska. The writing by Bonnie Leon is excellent. I could almost see the clouds and the rugged terrain as Kate flew in her plane. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.
