I'm glad this is the last book in the trilogy because I don't think I could stand anymore of the Embran. Book 1 - Out of Body was excellent; book 2 - Out of Mind ok; and this one, mediocre at best. When reading the first two, I didn't feel any connection with either Sykes or Poppy so reading a story featuring my two least favorite characters is just bleh. I thought the ending was too simple a conclusion for the fierce Embran and too pat.
