this is a very good story for young and old.Helga wanted the love of a man more than anything and she worked hard to gain riches to impress him. As she gained her wealth and worked she realized more and more that she didn't need him. I'll leave the ending a surprise. Tomie dePaola never dissappoints in his story telling
