Well, I was expecting quite more of this rerelease of a 1999 novella by William Peter Blatty. Elswhere is the tale of a realtor who decides to bring an author, parapsychologist and a psychic to a rumored to be haunted house to dispell the stories and prove it ghost-free so she can sell it. Slow-moving and not really scary at all, it is definitely a haunted hosue story, but not what I had envisioned. The "twist" ending was more "cute" than anything else and I could picture it as more of an episode of The Twilight Zone than a novel by the writer of The Exorcist. All in all, I finished it in one sitting, so I can't say it didnt keep my interest. Just don't read it if you are expecting to be kept up all night with the creeps.
