Ladies night out has a different ring for these women - Regina, Danice, Corinne, Ava and Missy. They play a little game where the five of them write down their most secret fantasies and once a month someone is chosen to have a Fantasy Fix where the other four endeavor to create the fantasy for the chosen one. This time it's Regina's turn and since she is reluctant to "play" she makes up an impossible fantasy - to be seduced by a sexy vampire. She's thinking that since vampires don't really exist, the ladies won't be able to force the fix and she will go unscathed. But surprise surprise, the very next week there just happens to be a vampire ball and guess who gets to be Cinderella? This ought to be interesting.
Holy crap the first sexual encounter with Dmitri lasted 50 pages. WOW!
Christine Warren writes great stories - her heroines are always intelligent, professional, self-reliant women who have difficulty finding a hard man...oh I mean a good man. And her heroes are always alpha males, semi-jerks who always settle into monogamous relationships without much fight or fuss. Dmitri is a very alpha male who uses his psychich abilities to "make" Regina comply but swiftly realizes that she is his mate and he doesn't want a drone or a slave and let's her be herself. Regina is coming off a bad relationship and instantly likes this domineering vampire and can't figure out why she's letting him control her...or is he?
I liked the story but I got tired of the S&M games real fast since they lasted for 20+ pages each time. It just got old. Otherwise a really good book.
