Serendipity was a good book from start to finish. Ethan is a character who returns home to "Serendipity" looking for redemption. Faith is the girl who got away, the princess who lived in the house on the hill and had everything Ethan didn't have. Now the tables have turned and Ethan is rich and successful while Faith's father is in jail after pulling a Ponzi scheme and losing everything. When Ethan hires Faith to decorate his new house (the house she grew up in that her father lost to bankruptcy), sparks fly. I love the emotional depth of the characters and the back story. I didn't like the character of Kelly. It really annoyed me the way she dropped off Ethan's surprise half sibling without even checking Ethan's background or knowing what he was like. It was heartless and utterly ridiculous. Despite this plot twist the book was great.
