Escaping unwanted media attention after a notorious incident, Ramsey Hunt retreats into the solitude of a cabin high in the Rockies. His isolation is shattered when he finds a small girl unconscious and hhurt in the forest. When strangers suddenly come into his private meadow, their intent to kill, she can't help him. She's mute. Molly Santera, the girls mother catches up with Ramsey and thinks he's the kidnapper. She then finds out he saved her but someone is out to get them and they end up on the run from the mob.
