I thought this book was good, and unlike some romance novels that portray two people who "can't be together" for ridiculous reasons that are quite unbelievable, the reasons in this book made sense. It's nice to read the work of an author with enough imagination to come up with a plausible reason for the conflict in the story!

Note: This version of the book has a nice, sturdy cover and deckle-edge pages to make it seem like an old manuscript.
