To be quite honest, I enjoyed this book right up until the final chapter. Chip St. Claire tells his life story with unnerving honesty and painful detail. The emotional abuse he lived through my opinion, was worse than the physical. His father seemed to revel in mentally torturing him. Very sad book. However, he completely lost me at the end of the book with all the "fluff" about metamorphosing into a butterfly. Got a little to "girly" in the end for my taste. Still a decent read though.
