Howard left for Alaska for a break, looking for ways for revenge on Rhett. She has a gatehouse that needs a lot of repairs and she has a idea to will bring Howard and his secret crush together. Through out this book Shanna is having problems adjusting to her new life and hoping to help everyone out that she can instead of depressing her new change in life.
