I did not find the book very interesting. That could be because I generally do not read memoirs or autobiographies. I love watching baseball, but I'm not interested in written descriptions of the play-by-play or statistics, of which, this book had plenty of. Our book club chose this book. I did not. In fact, I did not even finish it. I will say that the author is very good at paragraph construction and phrasing, but he should be, because he is a journalist.
