Although regency romance isn't normally my thing, Lerner does a delightful job instilling realistic situations into that time-period, allowing us to identify with the main characters. Real emotions render the romance believable, and Lerner succeeds at this quite well. A few scenes are a bit clunky, but lovers of the genre, as well as those not normally a fan will enjoy this book.
