There are Cozy Mysteries and then Corny cozy. This book does not have a murder, just a good clean mysterious cross stitched framed Lady in the Attic. No Peril, no Sex, No swear words, no violence, no murder. Not that a book needs that to be a good book. A simple story about friendship and bonding as this group tries to find out who the lady is.

Look at some of the reviews, If you know some of the reviewers, as I do, I think you can agree that this book was slow, dull, and not too clever. But if you really like and prefer squeaky clean novels, you will love this. There is not anything religious in this book, just a clean nancy drew like mystery.

I was expecting this to be more dramatic, and more secrets revealed kinda book. I think there are better books out there, and you will be better off passing this one by and reading those other books on your to be read pile.

I have to add that my 64 year old mother loved this book, but she likes Christian ficition (which this is not), and requires her books to be squeaky clean. I think that people like her are the target audience, and I am not the target audience. Overall I could not recommend this book to my PBS friends.
