A very hard-hitting memoir, it laid bare the truth behind addiction. I learned a lot from reading it. Having struggled with addiciton myself in the past, reading this brought back memories, mainly bad but memories that are true and somewhat hard to face. I felt the author was very honest in how he laid his life out for all to see, the good, the bad and the ugly. I consider this one of the best addiction memoirs I have ever read.
