Cressida Mandeville agrees to wed the vile Lord Crofton. All goes wrong when Tristan Tregallows, Duke of St. Raven hijacks the carriage she is traveling in and demands a kiss. Tristan has a conscience and does not leave the innocent Cressida in the power of Crofton. After discovering that Cressida is on a quest, he agress to help her. He becomnes her partner and protector but looses his heart in the process.Again, i love this book. It is full of excitment. I read it in a day and a half.
