I was very disappointed with this book. While the author does a good job of expressing a Buddhist perspective on war, peace, anger, compassion, etc., using some interesting analogies to do so, she provides very little in the way of practical advice or explanation. Of course we should "be patient". Of course we should "be forgiving". A few more tips as to how to get there might have been nice. One thing I did get from this book - her constant referencing of another book, "Finding Freedom" by Jarvis Masters, made me want to get that book and read it. Also, this book was very small and very brief. If you take away the hardback cover and really large print, this book is little more than a pamphlet. I enjoyed this author's writing style, but this is not a great book, and I suspect it is not her best effort.
