I've now read all three of the books in this series and liked the first two very much. But this one is a bit slower and more "forced" than the others. Almost as though the joint authors are getting tired of it already. And maybe they are. It sounds like an end to the series to me. Everything is tied up so neatly. If you read it I think you'll see what I mean. There are also a few pages at the end, written by one of the authors introducing us to another cozy series she has begun on her own.
I found this third book to be pretty boring until about one third of the way into it. It picked up a bit after that and only became exciting much closer to the end. Sorry ladies, but I think that this will be the last one for me even if there does happen to be a fourth.
