What an amazing novel! Exquisitely written, emotionally touching, with unusual characters and situations.
The main characters are an urban wildlife researcher from Massachusetts and a human rights psychiatrist from Africa whose lives literally collide in London. The subplot about foxes running around the city and the African immigrants who help the wildlife researcher track them is fascinating in its own right, but the author offers much, much more.
Highly recommended.
