Story already done many times.
It takes about 75 pages to finally get to something interesting, then it got draggy about midway, it just didn't have many twists coming to keep it exciting and a page turner
The language was just too much using the f-bomb too much, didn't add anything to the story and made it seem more sleazy
I'll read the next in the series and see if the writing improves, it might make a great series along the times of the Lincoln Lawyer if Duff does a better job telling the story in a mind-boggling way but this one is just kind of bland
