Not one false or jarring note in this novel about two young people who find each other, lose themselves on a remote rock island where they've taken on responsibility for a lighthouse. Things do resolve at the end, in a manner that was not predictable to me but very satisfying.

Very highly recommended for anyone who loves the outdoors and strong-minded characters.
