GERMAN-language book.
In Würzburg's city-palace, underneath the largest ceiling fresco in the world, a guard is found killed. He was murdered, of all things, with a feather. This same kind of feather is used by fresco painters for the restauration of the fresco.
The "hero" inspector is a little too James-Bond-ish for me, and the twists and turns, even though interesting, are a bit too contrived. You learn a few interesting tidbits about Tiepolo, though.
