Odd finds himself in another adventure. This time he has a friend that is kidnapped by some strange people. He discovers that his friend is being held in a burnt out old casino.
The villian, Datura is very strange and wants Odd to show her the dead.
Odd of course cannot show her and she is pissed. The book goes on to a rescue of Danny and Odd getting away in a series of tunnels.
this one was not as well written as the first.
But i love Odd Thomas.
