In the third book of the Natalie Gold series, Nattie is looking for a killer of a horse show mom of one of the top pony riders in the country. One of the suspects runs off with her father in tow, and Natalie enlists the help of Henry to find them. I was slightly disappointed with this book because the relationship between Henry and Natalie isn't really discussed in this book. In fact, Henry doesn't really seemed to be mentioned at all in this book. Natalie is fighting crime mostly by herself. Her horse, Brenda Starr, is rarely mentioned too, but Brenda is hurt and I don't want to go into that too much. Natalie and Tony spark up a flame, but does Nattie do since she sort of has a little something with Henry? I felt that this book left too many loose ends to tie up at the end of the story. It seemed like the book was going along really well and then it just abruptly ends. It is surprising to find out who killed the woman. I think that if you read the first and second books and liked them, you may not like this one. It seems that this book was written on a different wavelength than the others.
