Plain Wisdom by Cindy Woodsmall and Miriam Flaud

This book is just what the sub title states:
"An invitation into an Amish Home and the Hearts of Two Women"

Cindy Woodsmall is an author who speciazes in Amish style fiction. She has become friends with Miriam Flaud, who is Old Order Amish, and has given advice in her books. Through this partnership the two became friends. The book shares their times of visiting and how they learned from each other.

This is a glimpse into a wonderful friendship that transends miles and cultural differences. The ladies share about similar life experiences from an English and Amish perspective.

The chapters are short and there are several traditional Amish recipies included. If you have read any of Woodsmalls books you will really enjoy this behind the scences look at the 2 families. Easy to read and enjoy.
