A tremendous sequel to 'Die for Me'. I could not put this one down. Kate is a young girl, plunged into the world of revenants (undead immortals) when she nearly died from falling masonry while sitting on a café in Paris. Vincent, the young man who falls for Kate, is an undead revenant. In this sequel, Kate and Vincent go about on their own separate quests to find a solution to their relationship problem. They want to live their lives together, growing old, without the repercussions of Vincents inner driven force to save peoples lives and rebooting his youth each time. With the numa (bad guys) reorganizing after the death of their leader, Vincents group is paranoid throughout the entire book, and for good reason. With a revelation that Vincent could be the revenant champion, there could be more to lose if he dies at the hands of his enemy.

I cant give away much more because what happens in this book is the birth or a heroine. We see an enormous evolution of Kates character. I love where this is going.

This book left me in tears and begging for the next book. I really dont know what to expect.
